Lent / Ash Wednesday at St. Paul's

"Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, 'I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.' And you forgave the guilt of my sin." Psalm 32:5

We will be joining St. Paul's Church for Ash Wednesday services tomorrow night, February 18th. Service begins at 5:30pm. Their address is 304 E. Camperdown Way, Greenville 29601.
We hope to see you there!

We enter into a new season in church life, turning our hearts toward repentance, self-examination and focused consideration of Christ's suffering for us. It is a rich time, and one that offers prospects for experiencing Jesus, and his story, in fresh ways. Here's a document called "On Keeping A Holy Lent." It's a great explanation of the history and meaning of Lent as well as a helpful resource for observance.

Also, The Lent Experience is a robust website dedicated to making the Lenten season meaningful for anyone. Whether you've been observing Lent your whole life, or it's brand new to you, you'll find it a very helpful resource.

Grace & peace,
