What does it mean to be a Christian? This is as significant a question for our time as ever. So we want to make sure you know about the recent publishing of the ACNA's "To Be A Christian: An Anglican Catechism." This is a fairly monumental work for us in the "ancient/future" tradition and is a great foundation for understanding what we believe and how we hope to work that out in life. Village Church, as a new community of faith, is a family on the journey toward greater love for God and others, in search of the wisdom in Christ we discover through Scripture and our worshipping tradition. Discipleship is not an arrival, it's a journey. And we are in this together.
So, in the coming months and years, we intend to interact regularly with this catechism and lean on it as a resource for personal and church growth. I want to encourage you to begin to work through it carefully, praying for clarity and jotting down your questions. It is presented in question and answer form, making it a fantastic resource for training your children. Have a look!
