The Rev. Seth Cain
In July of 2014, the Cains moved to the west side of Greenville to plant Village Church Anglican. Seth & Ashley were married in '99 after graduating as English majors from Emmanuel College. Seth graduated from Wheaton College Graduate School in '04 and has been in local church ministry ever since, revitalizing and planting churches, once moonlighting as a graphic /web designer. Having grown up in the Shenandoah Valley of VA and on the coast of Northeast FL, Seth loves all things outdoors, both land and sea. Ashley is a Columbia, SC native, who oversees the altar guild at Village Church. She is an educator, wise counselor and avid runner. She loves experimenting with new recipes (and Seth loves eating them). They have two children, Silas and Augustine.

Sharon is wife to David, mother to six grown children, and grandmother of seven. She is a recently retired school teacher and school administrator of several Greenville County Schools. She holds an elementary education degree and a school administration degree from Furman University. Her experience in education includes elementary, middle, and high school as well as teaching adults. For fun, she takes art classes, plays the piano, rides bikes, eats delicious food, drinks good coffee, and sits on the porch. Her desire is to know and communicate the steadfast love of the Lord in word and deed.
Jason & Joanna Bursch
Jason and Joanna have been involved in music since they can remember. Both of them grew up involved in the worship at their churches. A mutual love for music is one of things that brought them together in 2001. They moved from the beautiful, cold north of Minnesota to the Greenville area in 2003 and have loved being South Carolinians. The Bursches have 3 children and their family started attending Village in the fall of 2017. They began heading up the worship ministry in the late summer of 2018 and have been so grateful to have a community so rich in joy and grace.
Youth Ministry / Village Wrench
Jessica is a smiley mountain soul, enthusiastic people person, and get-things-done gal. A Charleston native, she holds a BA from Roanoke College in Literary Studies and earned her Master's in Teaching in New Zealand in 2016. She moved to Greenville in 2017 to teach high school English and soon found a church home at Village, especially helping with youth gatherings. She stepped in as Village Wrench Director in the fall of 2018 and began heading up youth ministry at the start of 2019. She is passionate about developing community and making others feel known and loved -- particularly her three younger siblings, wide spread of friends, and sheepadoodle, Jack. Adventures are her favorite form of fun, especially backpacking, cycling, and dirtbag traveling; she also enjoys reading, endless cups of tea, and good food.

Village Church Assistant
Hallie helps with many weekly details and random projects around Village Church. A book hoarder and visual artist, she loves to keep people organized. She likes making sure details are in order, and often leaves a trail of glitter. But mostly, she just loves to help people get things done. She and her artist husband, Nathan, have been a part of Village Church since 2015, just after we launched. They love to travel. And collect more books.
