The Rev. Canon Seth Cain

Rector & Founding Pastor
Seth and his wife, Ashley, moved to the west side of Greenville in 2014 to plant Village Church. He has been in local church ministry since graduating from Wheaton College Graduate School in 2004. Seth grew up in both the Shenandoah Valley of VA and on the east coast of Florida. Most Fridays, he can be found on a trail hiking or mountain biking. Seth has been married to Ashley since ‘99 and they have two teenage children, Silas and Augustine. He also serves the Diocese of the Carolinas as the Canon for Church Planting. The Rev. Matt Wilkins

Associate Rector / Pastoral Counselor
Matt joined Village in 2023 after serving at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Tallahassee for 10 years, providing oversight to various ministries of the church ranging from youth ministry, to worship, to pastoral care. He is a graduate of Duke Divinity School and holds an MSW from Florida State. A Charlottesville, VA native and serious lover of the outdoors, Matt also considers himself a certified Prayer Book nerd and is passionate about leading others into the Anglican way of worshipping the Lord. He is married to Liz and they have a daughter, Annie. Book some time with Matt here.


The Rev. Mike Juday

Associate Rector
Mike moved to Greenville in 2024 to join Village. A graduate of Trinity School for Ministry, Mike has served in various ministry roles starting in 2006 in Northern Virginia and served as a pastor at a church plant in Columbus, OH for 10 years. Mike is a third culture individual, growing up all around the country and overseas. Mike and Emma have been married since 2011 and have three children, Ebenezer, Posy, and Agatha. Together, they enjoy exploring new and old places, local cuisine, reading books, and watching the Columbus Crew soccer team. Book some time with Mike here.

The vestry is a lay, elected board who represent the Congregation in the stewardship of finances and facilities, as well as other matters pertaining to the general health of the Congregation. The vestry works in close partnership with the Rector, supporting him and other leadership in the mission of Village Church and the spiritual formation of her membership. The vestry also works with the Bishop and diocese in the absence of a Rector.
