Fall Alpha: You’re Invited
Tuesdays, September 10 – October 29, 6:15-7:45pm
Dinner and Childcare Provided
Alpha is a safe place for anyone and everyone to have a meaningful conversation about faith.
Is there more to life...?
…exploring faith and meaning in community.
What is my purpose in life?
What happens when we die?
What relevance does Jesus have to our daily lives today?
Why do bad things happen?
If you would like to explore any of these questions, then Alpha is for you. If you’re not sure, come to the first night to get a taste! There is never any obligation or pressure to come back if it’s not for you.
What is Alpha?
Alpha is an 8-10 week small group experience designed for anyone and everyone to explore questions about spirituality, the person of Jesus, or faith.
What is involved?
Each week we gather for dinner and conversation. We watch a short video or hear a talk on an important topic, questions like: Is there more to life than this? / What about evil? / Why did Jesus Die?
After the talk, we have small group discussions — where there is no obligation to say anything, and there's nothing you can't say. Towards the end, you’re invited to a half-day retreat — the Alpha Weekend — where we spend time learning about the Holy Spirit.
What about childcare?
Our spring course will meet in a home without childcare available. Free on-site childcare for ages 0-10 will be provided at our fall course.
