Village Youth is for middle and high school students in 6th-12th grade. We focus on discipleship and opportunities for students and their parents to know Christ, his unfailing love because of the Gospel, and how we can grow to become more like him. Our ministry is three-part, consisting of community building, Bible study, and prayer.

Summer Series - Galatians

Sundays, June 2-August 25, 6:30-8:00 PM
Village Church Fellowship Hall

Middle School: First and Third Sunday
High School: Second & Fourth Sunday

Each week, we’ll gather together to study a chapter of Galatians, learning the context of Paul’s letter to the group of churches he wrote to in Galatia, how all believers enjoy complete salvation in Christ, and how the gospel of grace leads us to true freedom and godly living.

“A person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ” (2:16)

Summer Breakfast

7:45 am - 8:45 am
Alternating Wednesdays

High School: Chick-Fil-A Cherrydale - bring $ or enjoy company

No better way to start your day! A social opportunity to gather and spend time together. Great opportunity to invite your friends!

Lunch Buddies, Youth Edition

11:15 am - 1:00 pm
Wednesdays, July & August

Middle School: 7/17 - slippin’ slide; 7/31 - bike day

High School: 7/10 - field games; 7/24 - water balloon fight; 8/7 - yoga

As many of you now know, Village is serving as a Lunch Buddies site through the summer, partnering with Greenville County Schools Summer Feeding Program.

Please sign up to make the youth lunch buddies day the most RADTASTIC, ALL OUT FUN, ENERGY-FILLED day of the week for our young neighbors and for us! Parents and younger siblings, you are welcome to stay and join in.

Activities are proposed ideas and can be changed if youth are feeling more passionately about something else. The alternating middle and high days run opposite from Wednesday morning breakfast, so hopefully we will see everyone at least once a week. Let's get behind this!

Bike Ride + Ice Cream Outing

June 30, 1:00-4:30 PM
Swamp Rabbit Cafe (Optional lunch at 12)

Bring your bicycle, helmet, and a little bit of cash for a group ride on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. We’ll head North to Travelers Rest at a leisurely pace and stop at Pink Mama’s Ice Cream Parlor for a sweet treat.

Need a bike or a tune up pre-ride? Stop by Village Wrench on Thursday, 1-6 pm or Saturday, 10am-3pm, or rent a bicycle at the SRT Bike Shop for $15.

Cove Creek Camping

July 11-14, Pisgah National Forest - Brevard, NC

For the whole family, but limited space! Sign up here.

Cove Creek consists of two large meadow group campgrounds in Pisgah National Forest that can accommodate up to 100 people. We will be in the lower meadow, and the site includes a water pump, vault toilets, large picnic area with a fire pit and grill. There are large grassy areas as well as wooded areas for pitching tents or campers. Enjoy hiking, sliding down the wintry waters of our personal sliding rock, field games, and camp fires. Families from St. Andrews Mt Pleasant had a decades-long tradition of families gathering in the summer to camp here, and this is the first year that we may be picking the torch back up to continue the legacy.

It is an honor and privilege to disciple your students!
