Village Youth is for middle and high school students in 6th-12th grade.
Village Youth exists to be a safe and welcoming place for students to belong and connect in community as they develop as followers of Jesus Christ.

High school Hangouts
On the first Wednesday of each month from 7:15-8:15am, high schoolers have breakfast and do morning prayer together at Smyth’s house. On the third Wednesday of each month, high school guys and girls meet separately either before or after school for a Bible study/prayer (leaders will be in touch with students about the 3rd Wednesday).
PMAC volunteer opportunities
PMAC is an after-school program that runs every weekday in concurrence with the Greenville County Schools schedule. Children come straight from school to PMAC, where they engage in physical fitness, games, art, dance, music, and character building activities throughout the afternoon. They are in need of volunteers 15 years or older. Click here to fill out a volunteer interest form.
Parent Resources for Teen Discipleship
I am very aware that I am not a parent to teenagers so I don’t pretend to have experiential knowledge I do not have. However, I do read a lot of books/articles and listen to a lot of podcasts about teenagers-especially, the spiritual development and formation of teenagers. Here is a list of resources I have found helpful. Please let me know if you have any additional resources you think I should add to this list.
Parents and students, if you are new to Village Youth would like to receive emails about youth happenings, please contact Smyth (smyth@villagegreenville.com) and she will add you to the email list. A Village Youth newsletter is sent out at the beginning of each month.
